Dr Sharma is the chairman of JURISTA LEGALIS and is based in New Delhi, India. He is a Lawyer, an academician, doctor of philosophy in international relations. Over the past 33 years Dr. Sharma is known for his knowledge and experience and has led complex situations of law to success stories for various matters working with domestic and international clients. Dr Sharma is representing the Union Government before various Courts as a Senior Counsel for the past several years. Sumit Sharma (Director – Corporate Law & Taxation)

Sumit heads the Corporate Law and Taxation Advisory Service line of Jurista Legalis. He has extensive experience of advising to clients on matters relating to direct taxation and company law matters. He is a qualified Chartered accountant and a Bachelor at Law and a Research Scholar in subject of World Trade Organization. Being conversant with diverse legal and financial laws he has advised on matters relating to legal and financial aspects arising on various complex situations. 

His credentials include projects and due diligences, Legal Advisory Services on International clients, corporates, including advise to leading global private equity and real estate funds on their proposed ventures in India. Sumit has advised topline global real estate developers on corporate law and financial matters in India.
